Study Permit for Nepalese Student

21 Dec 2022

To study in Canada as a student from Nepal, you will need to obtain a study permit.

To apply for a study permit, you will need to have been accepted to a recognized school, university, or other educational institution in Canada. You will also need to provide proof of financial support to cover your tuition fees and living expenses while you are in Canada.

To apply for a study permit, you will need to submit the following documents:

A valid passport

A letter of acceptance from a recognized school, university, or other educational institution in Canada

Proof of financial support, such as a bank statement or a letter of financial support from a parent or guardian

A police clearance certificate

A medical examination

Evidence that you have sufficient funds to pay for your tuition fees and living expenses while you are in Canada

You can apply for a study permit online or at a Canadian visa office in your home country. You may also be required to attend an interview as part of the application process.

It is important to note that a study permit does not guarantee entry to Canada. You may still need to obtain a temporary resident visa, depending on your nationality and the length of your study program.

For more information about the process for obtaining a study permit, you can visit the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.
